What to say first
Start with the pest sign and room: ants by the kitchen sink, roaches behind a refrigerator, mice in the garage, bed bug stains on a mattress seam, or termite tubes near the foundation. That is more useful than saying you need pest control.
Details that prevent back-and-forth
Have the ZIP code, property type, landlord or manager notes, pets, children, food areas, business hours, and access limits ready. If the property is a rental or business, mention who can authorize entry.
When photos help
A safe photo of an insect, droppings, wings, stains, damaged wood, or entry gap can help the conversation. Do not put yourself in an unsafe crawl space or disturb evidence just to take a picture.
Why there is no form
Forms often miss the detail that matters most: where the pest is active and what changed before it appeared. A short phone conversation is usually clearer for active pest concerns.
